A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute &
State University, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, and a
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ms. Cullen has
over 17 years of professional experience in Accounting
and Finance specializing in Mutual Fund Administration
with a concentration on Private Equity Partnership
Structures. Ms. Cullen currently sits on Executive
Committee of the Cayman Islands Fund Administrators
Association (CIFAA).
Over the last 10 years, prior to launching Focus
Administration Limited, Ms. Cullen successfully performed
at a management level for HSBC Financial Services
(Cayman) Limited and Admiral Administration Limited,
two large Mutual Fund Administration companies in
the Cayman Islands. Her responsibilities were to ensure
compliance with all Anti-Money Laundering Laws and
Due Diligence Regulations. She directed with overall
responsibility the complete administration and financial
services for a large portfolio of Mutual Funds, Limited
Partnerships, Exempted Companies and Trusts encompassing
very different investing schemes. Her interactions
with the Funds Attorneys, Directors, Auditors and
Bankers were primarily pro-active to address client
issues through her utilization of excellent written
and communication skills. Ms. Cullen has been instrumental
in structuring the accounting records and correspondence
to meet management requirements by providing detailed,
accurate information for each client.
Additionally, Ms. Cullen had a 4 1⁄2 year tenure
in the US working in a large public accounting firm,
Aronson & Company, Rockville, Maryland. The firm
ranks in the top 100 US National Accounting Firms
and is a member of Moores Rowland International (MRI).
She was instrumental in performing audits of financial
statements for a variety of companies to include:
Investment Management Companies, Large Government
& Construction Contractors, Real Estate Developers,
Not-for-Profit Organizations, Publishing & insurance
Companies and Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Projects. During 1991 and 1992, Ms. Cullen was selected
as part of the Aronson Team to perform asset valuations
for a US Government Agency, the Resolution Trust Corporation
(RTC) on numerous savings and loan institutions in
the U.S. This experience has been beneficial to her
professional career as it broadened her understanding
of the business financial community.
Ms Cullen brings
a broad range of experience, specifically in the fund
administration capacity, with a distinctive capability
to transfer her business knowledge in developing unique,
customized methods to serve the clients needs in the
most efficient manner. Her dedication to satisfying
client requirements demonstrates her strong and committed
work ethic. She applies personal attention to each
project, and with an enthusiastic commitment often
performs her responsibilities beyond the requisite
standard.
